If you are ever hungry and fortunate to arrive at this place on friday night, they have a selection of food that is simply amazing.   Huge amounts of fresh shrimp and also fried shrimp.   I am embarassed to admit I had dozens.   And the hot and sour soup was tremendous.  So was the spicy variations of chicken, and fish and beef and pork.   I loved the friendliness yesterday, too.   Dr John and Karan Quincy

This is the worst "Chinese" food I have ever had. If you think this is what Chinese food is, then I AM SO SORRY.

I got three plates: one plate with grilled chicken teriyaki, sushi rolls (side note: they do NOT have that lovely selection from that old photo, it's only a few garbage-y rolls now), and a bunch of fried items; one plate with stir fries, fish, roast pork, and lo mein; one plate with fried rice and chili oil.

I cannot express how bad this was. Fried rice bland as hell, sushi rolls had a weird off flavor and virtually no meat. Lo mein was strangely sweet. The stir fries were a gloppy sugary mess, indistinguishable one from the other. Fish was dry and bland. Roast pork was too sweet.

The most astonishing part was how revolting all the fried items were. I didn't think it was possible to make fried food that unappealing, but I took one bite out of most of the items and pushed the remainder aside. Flavorless, chewy, oily. The only exceptions may have been the cornmeal battered fish and the wontons, which were alright, but I suppose that's because pouring these preseasoned, premade items out of a freezer bag into a fryer means you can't really mess them up.

Surroundings are dismal, which just added to the experience, such as it was. Service was super nice, although when the lady at the counter said she hoped I had a nice lunch, I was vaguely tempted to tell her how god awful it was. But I refrained.

I kind of knew driving over here that I was probably going to regret it. I just figured for $8 for lunch, it wouldn't be a huge regret. I was wrong. Never ever ever again.

    I'm
Not sure I'd come back. It is cheaper than most buffets, but I think that the food reflects the price. I tried the sweet and sour chicken and thought the Breading was much too thick. I also tried the popcorn/sweet-and-sour shrimp and the shrimp was dried out. Not sure if that's because it was on the buffet line too long or if it was overcooked. I did joy the crab Rangoon's But wasn't a fan of the vegetable spring roll. It was almost creamy and that weirded me out just a little. They did have a pretty impressive ice cream selection. Instead of just one flavor they had many I think about 8 to 10 that you could choose from.

Man oh man. This place is not terrible nor is it the worst buffet I've been to. But it's just not good. I've given it a few tries, 6 to be exact and I always go at different times on different days of the week and the food is always inconsistent.

Service is good. It's quick and fast. No issues there.

It's just the quality of the food. Some days, like Sunday lunch time, it's fresh and good. Other days, lunch and dinner is nasty. The sweet and sour chicken is cold on the inside and tastes frozen. The noodles are drenched in oil and your whole mouth is oily after eating a few bites.

It's not awful, but it's not worth the price. There are many other places that charge less with way better food. During the week, I paid $10.75 just for buffet and more if you order drinks. On weekends, it jumps to $12.75. I hate giving bad reviews, but after today, it just wasn't worth the price and my stomach was hurting halfway through.
